At Home Going Away Party {Seattle, WA}

I have always wanted to host a party in a home, transforming someone's living room into an oversized dining room. I got the chance to do it in the summer of 2021 in my former home in Seattle, WA.

My husband and I had recently sold the house and sent our worldly belongings across the ocean en route to Hawaii. The living room was wide open and a going away party was happening​.

Event Setup & Rentals

Pedersen's is the absolute best event rental company in Seattle. They provided the table top items and furniture with delivery and pickup. 

My goal of earthy, calming, and minimalist with a tiny bit of sparkle was achieved both indoors and out.

Kids Table

I'm a cool aunty first and an event planner second so the kids always have something special when I'm planning an event. 

Giving kids their own area to sit, complete with snacks and activities keeps the little ones occupied for a hot minute or two. That way Moms and Dads can chat with the grown ups and I get cool aunty points!
